Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) Printers
The inkjet printer is selectively charged by an electrode. It then passes through an electric field. This electric field guides the ink droplets towards the desired surface for printing or returns them to the ink channel.
These kinds of ink are conductive and dry quickly. They are made based on volatile solvents such as MEK and alcohol. This type of ink is used for printing on non-absorbent surfaces such as metals, plastics, glass, and the like.
